Badges: reassurance next to the price and the design
Short lines that take away doubt at the moment your customer is looking at the amount.
Two kinds of badges with the same goal: reassuring your customer at the moment they hesitate.
You cannot set this yourself in the portal at the moment. Get in touch with us if you want it set differently.
Badges next to the price
Two badges your customer can see next to the price:
- Free shipping
- Free design check
Both are off by default.
Only switch on what you really deliver. If “free shipping” is on while you charge for shipping, your customer finds out at checkout — exactly the moment orders fall through. These badges are only worth something as long as they are true.
“Free design check” means: you look over the design before you make it. That takes you a few minutes and saves you production mistakes, so for many makers it is a badge that is simply true, if you do that check anyway.
Quality badges on the design
These badges are on by default, and there is a reason: they change nothing about the price, the choice or the order. They explain what the configurator does anyway.
While your customer turns their logo into tubes, a few things happen automatically. Without explanation they look like deviations from their design. With explanation they are craftsmanship:
| Badge | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Fine details are printed | Parts of the design are too fine for a glass tube and are printed on the panel |
| Corners are rounded | Sharp corners have been rounded to the minimum bend radius |
| Tubes at the right distance | Tubes were too close together and are set apart by hand |
Your customer reads default texts such as “2 fine details are printed for perfect quality” and “All corners are softly rounded — so the glass follows the shape perfectly”.
Your own words
Each badge can carry a sentence of your own, up to 160 characters. Without one, your customer reads the default text.
That is worth it if you have your own way of explaining. “We bend by hand, so sharp corners are always slightly rounded — that is part of real glass” says more about your company than our default line.
Switching off is possible
If you do not want that explanation, the quality badges can be switched off. Your customer then only sees the result, without an explanation of why it differs slightly from the file they supplied.
