How it works: from visitor to order

The whole picture in five minutes — what sits on your site, what happens in your portal, and what you control yourself.

You get two things from us: the Neon Studio configurator, running on your site, and a portal where you control it. Everything your visitor sees — the colours, the prices, the wording, the buttons — comes from that portal at app.mark2form.com. We are not in between.

The two products

Neon Studio is the category where you set everything up. Under it sit two products, two entrances to the same result:

  • Neon Logo — your customer uploads a logo. It is traced into a neon design.
  • Neon Text — your customer types a line of text and picks a font from the single-line fonts. No file needed.

What happens after that is identical: the same pricing, the same extras, the same statuses under Orders & quotes and the same production file. Only what you pay us counts per product: Neon Logo and Neon Text each have their own price tiers.

The route of an order

  1. Your visitor opens the configurator on your site. They upload a logo or type some text, pick a colour, a size and a backdrop, and immediately see the price you set.
  2. They order or request a quote. What that button does is up to you: a quote by email, a line in your own shopping cart, or the production files straight away.
  3. The order shows up in your portal, under Orders & quotes. With the design, the sizes, the metres per colour and the price.
  4. You move the status along: confirmed → in production → ready → shipped. Your customer follows that status on a status page of their own.
  5. You finish the paperwork — let them pay online through your own Mollie account, and, if your bookkeeping is connected, push a draft invoice into your own bookkeeping.

What you control, and what you see

  • Your prices and texts are yours. You set them on the Settings tab of your software, in five sections: Appearance, What your visitor may do, Production, Payments and Emails. Whatever you save is live on your site straight away. You can view your colour list there; you request a colour to be added.
  • What your visitor may do: not see the configurator, only look, or design and order. And whether they see the price.
  • What it does shows on the Insights tab: visits, interactions, logo uploads, designs, orders and quotes, and how many visitors get from uploading to ordering.

Where is what in your portal?

Where What you do there
Dashboard Per product a card with a light (is it working yet?) and one button, your first steps, and what came in once there is something
My software Per piece of software the tabs Insights, Settings, Use it, Orders & quotes, Subscription, and for Neon Logo Logo uploads. Explanations are behind Help at the top of the page
Orders & quotes Every order across all your software, as a list or a board, with statuses. A quote request arrives by email
Request software Ask us for other software
Account & billing Your company, your team, your profile, your Security (password and two-step verification), your account Settings, your subscriptions (one per product), your usage and your invoices

You get the code for your site with Connect on the Use it tab of your software. Your keys are there too, each with a light and a Test button, and Manage keys. Under More explanation in Connect, Connect step by step takes you to the Connect screen: the steps per website and the notification on a new order.

Getting started

Do it in this order — then nothing half-finished ever sits on your site:

  1. Set your prices on the Settings tab and review your colours.
  2. Try it out with See it the way your customer does on the Use it tab.
  3. Put it on your site once it is right.
  4. Only then the rest: status emails, online payments, bookkeeping.
