Saving, sharing and reordering designs
The short share link, the QR code for looking at it on your phone, and how a customer orders exactly the same sign again.
A design someone spent ten minutes on should be something they can save and find again. Otherwise every interruption — the phone, a child, a meeting — is a lost order.
This works for both products: a typed text is saved just as well as a traced logo.
Saving
Your visitor can save their design. They then get a short link to that design, which they can email, message or keep for later.
That link opens a page with their design, the sizes and an indicative price, and a button to continue in the configurator — exactly where they left off. No login needed: the unguessable link is the key.
The QR code
A saved design comes with a QR code. It is there for one reason: opening the design on your phone, to show it to someone or to carry on later.
The QR code is made by us and does not go through an external QR service. So no outsider can see which designs your customers share.
Ordering again
On an order of a saved design, your portal shows Order again. It opens the same design again in your configurator — handy when your customer wants the same thing once more, or a small change. Your customer gets the same button in the shipped email (see Status emails).
Reordering is the easiest revenue there is: an existing customer, an existing design, no design time. Especially with hospitality and retail chains opening a second location, or a sign that needs replacing after years.
What is in a share link, and what is not
The design: shapes, colours, sizes and the chosen background, plus an indicative price — the amount as it stood when the design was saved, with the line that you confirm the price with the order.
No name, no email address and not your key. Someone who forwards such a link shares a design, not customer details.
