Colours: what your customer can choose

Your LED colours, your panel materials and your MDF colours — your customer only sees what you can really deliver.

You find them in your portal at app.mark2form.com: open your software under My software, go to the Settings tab and open the What your visitor may do section; they are under Kleuren (colours). The rule is simple: what is not there, your customer cannot choose. That way you never get an order in a colour you do not have in stock.

You can view the three lists, Neon LED-kleuren (neon LED colours), Plaat-materialen (panel materials) and MDF-kleuren (MDF colours), there, but you do not change them there.

You cannot set this yourself in the portal at the moment. Get in touch with us if you want it set differently.

For Neon Text you do choose which of those colours your visitor sees in the text designer, under Colours in the text designer in the same section. Tick nothing and your visitor gets every colour. See Setting up Neon Text.

Missing a colour or material? Request it in the Missing a colour or material? block in the same section. Your request reaches us straight away, and you see there what we do with it.

Neon LED colours

These details are fixed per colour. In your portal you see the name and a colour swatch:

Field Explanation
Id A short unique name without spaces, for example warm-white.
Naam (name) What your customer reads, for example “Warm White”.
Kleur (colour) The colour as your visitor sees it glow in the preview.
Wit-tint (white tint) Warm, Koel (cool) or Neutraal (neutral).

Why that white tint?

Warm and cool white glow differently on a wall. This choice makes sure the preview matches what your customer will see hanging in their room — which saves disappointment on delivery.

About the ID

The ID is stored in every saved design. That is why it does not change: an old design would otherwise point to a colour that no longer exists. The name can change — it is purely what your customer reads.

Panel materials

Which panels you offer: clear transparent acrylic, smoked transparent acrylic and painted MDF. Their prices are under Pricing.

MDF colours

The colours in which you supply painted MDF.

Tip: start small

It is tempting to offer everything that is possible. But a visitor who may choose from forty colours chooses more slowly and drops out more often than one who sees eight. Keep your list to the colours you really have in stock and sell often; the rest you can always do on request.
