Docs and helpPortal settings

General: company name, contact and tube diameters

The basics that show up everywhere — in your emails, on your quotes and in the choices your customer gets.

These fields are in your portal at app.mark2form.com: open your software under My software and go to the Settings tab. That tab has five sections, and these fields are in three of them:

  • Emails: Bedrijfsnaam and Algemeen contact-email;
  • What your visitor may do: Buisdiktes and Standaard-buisdikte;
  • Appearance: Eenhedenstelsel.

The field names are in Dutch, also in the English portal; below you will find each one as the portal shows it. Few fields, but these values turn up in a lot of places. Each field shows in small print where its value comes from. If it can apply to both your products, there is a tick box to apply it to both Neon Logo and Neon Text. Each section has its own save button.

Company name (Bedrijfsnaam)

Your company name as your customer may see it. It appears at the top of your emails and is used whenever there is no logo set. Always fill it in — otherwise a status email says “your order” where your name could have been.

General contact email (Algemeen contact-email)

The address your customers can reach you on. Quote requests from your configurator arrive here too. Leave it empty and they go to the address under Mail productie-bestanden naar (see Files).

Tube diameters (Buisdiktes (mm))

The tube diameters you stock. Your customer picks from this list, so they never see a size you cannot make. Add as many as you like; 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm are the usual ones.

Default tube diameter (Standaard-buisdikte (mm))

The diameter the configurator opens with. Pick the one you sell most: the vast majority of your visitors never change it, so in practice this is the diameter most of your quotes will be based on.

Make sure this value is also in your list of tube diameters.

Units (Eenhedenstelsel)

Whether your customers see sizes in centimetres and millimetres (Metrisch) or in inches (Imperial). The production files are always metric.

What this does to your price

Tube diameter is part of the price, together with the metres of tube and the number of bends. How that adds up is explained in Pricing.
